  • 2/5                   Monthly Meeting
    • Tuesday, February 5

Presenter: Carl White, MarketVisory Group, Inc.

Topic: Two Essential, Cost Effective Pieces of Marketing All Practices Should Do

Carl White will be joining us to speak about specific marketing tactics that all practices should be using.

Carl White, founder of MarketVisory Group, focuses on helping healthcare businesses build sustainable growth. Carl has over 16 years of experience doing marketing in healthcare. For much of his career he worked at Baxter and Hollister. While he learned a tremendous amount of what good looks like in healthcare marketing, he was limited to helping only the patient populations and the medical practitioners Baxter and Hollister focused on. He started MarketVisory Group so he can broaden his reach and help a wider variety of doctors, clinicians, and patients. Carl is a Duct Tape Marketing Certified Consultant. He lives in Northbrook, IL.

This article was discussed during the meeting. MGMA data was used to show that health-system owned phyiscian practices averaged losses in net income as opposed to privately owned physician practices, which typically showed a profit.
