Illinois MGMA Exhibit & Sponsorship Opportunities

 

The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), founded in 1926, is the nation's principal voice for medical group practice. MGMA's 19,500 members manage and lead more than 11,500 organizations in which more than 240,000 physicians practice. 

 

Illinois Medical Group Management Association (ILMGMA) serves the spectrum of physician practices from small to large, plus other health care delivery systems such as management service organizations, integrated delivery systems and ambulatory surgery centers.

ILMGMA leads the profession and assists members through information, education, networking and advocacy. Its core purpose is to improve the effectiveness of medical group practices and the knowledge and skills of the individuals who manage and lead them.

 

Illinois MGMA Affiliate Members, Supporter and Interested Parties:


 2009 proved to be a year of tremendous growth and re-vitalization for the Illinois Medical Group Management Association (ILMGMA).  We anticipate this growth to continue for 2010 and beyond. In 2009, our membership grew 124% from the previous year. Our annual conference attendance levels saw an average increase of 43%. Our current membership stands at 228 and is composed of Practice Managers/Administrators from across the State of Illinois with the demographic skewing toward small-mid sized practices.   

ILMGMA holds two Annual Conferences each year.  In 2009, each of our annual conferences saw an average of 86 attendees.   We will be holding these same two Annual Conferences in 2010:

  • Educational Conference - April 8 & 9, 2010 - Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort
  • Fall Payer Meeting - Ocober 1, 2010.- DoubleTree Chicigo - Oak Brook

For access to our membership and networking opportunities ILMGMA offers organizations an Annual Affiliate Membership.  Affiliate Membership is defined as:  Any individual employed by an organization that provides services as a vendor to medical group practices, or any individual who does not meet the requirements for active membership, but who subscribes to the purposes and activities of the Association.  Affiliate Membership Dues are $350 per year.  

As a 2010 Affiliate Member of ILMGMA, some of our benefits to you include:

  • Correspondence from ILMGMA to all members outlining upcoming activities, events and industry updates pertinent to our State

  • Member discounts on registration fees for activities and exhibit opportunities taking place throughout 2010
