Darshan Bachhawat wants to improve the quality of care and reduce the total cost of healthcare in the United States. Since joining the Jaan Health executive team in 2019, he has led Marketing, Sales, and Account Executive teams that collaborate cross-functionally to help provider groups flourish financially and get fairly compensated for the high-quality care they provide to their patients.
Darshan’s 20+ year career includes extensive work with healthcare providers and 15 years of experience co-founding and building high growth healthcare technology businesses committed to improving access to care and quality of care.
Prior to joining Jaan Health, Darshan was Vice President of Health Systems at Zocdoc, the leading online marketplace for healthcare. At Zocdoc, Darshan played a critical role building the enterprise business, enabling improved access to care for millions of patients and helping large medical groups and health systems secure new patient flow, improve access and enhance the patient experience.
In 2009, Darshan co-founded CipherHealth, a Best in KLAS patient engagement platform. At CipherHealth, Darshan was instrumental in developing and commercializing the product to help health systems reduce readmissions and increase patient satisfaction. He built the marketing, sales, implementation and account management functions with a keen focus on customer success.
Darshan graduated with a degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. He lives with his wife and two kids in New Jersey.
